Operation Backpack – New Year, New Start

Our Operation Backpack team has started off the new school year strong. The first backpacks went out on Friday, August 21, 2026. Our backpack team supplies between 200 and 250 boxes each week to students in need within our community.

For many children in our community, school-provided meals are their primary source of nutrition during the week. Operation Backpack steps into the gap by providing discrete, shelf-stable, kid-friendly food items every Friday so these students don’t go hungry over the weekend.

As the new year kicks off, we are looking for people willing to sponsor a child’s monthly food. This ministry cost approximately $3.75/child/week and about $3600/month.  Please consider donating!
